What's Happenin'
Check out new dates for the summer under our "schedule" section!!
03/29/08 We have been neglecting this portion of our website for way too long! Things have been going awesome. Since the last entry we have played the last season game at Lambeau field atrium, and Brett Favres last home season game (that in itself is a great honor). We also played the playoff game at Anduzzis on Holmgren way which was also an epic event for us...the crowd was huge and on fire after that killer victory in the snow! There are new pictures in the "pics" section from this weekends Tap Haus gig and others. Our fans have continued to be loyal as ever and we thank all of you for the support you bring weekly! See you at Gentleman Jacks and Staxx!!!
11/29/07 It's been a while, and man, has it been busy. Our 1-year anniversary gig at the Outpost this past weeked was mind-numbing -- oh, the humanity! We had a huge crowd, free beer (2 half-barrels gone in 22 minutes flat), a stage to play on, and good-looking dancers down in front, all night. Thanks to all who made it a very special event, especially Brian Nettekoven for his fine hospitality. Check out these pics from the show, and be sure to watch the schedule for our end-of-year gigs!
10/10/07 Much to report for this installment. Please stay with me. Our gig at Lambeau Filed went well. Look for us to be back there Dec. 30th and possibly an additional game before then. Our thanks to Trev and the Tap Haus gang. Our first visit to that venue was a memorable one. Jane, Jean, Karen, and Lynn always make the night interesting. Thanks for your support. From there we went to Bentley's in Green Bay the following weekend and just this past Saturday hit The Kountry Bar for the first time. What a blast!! For those of you who haven't been to this out of the way party spot, make sure you get it in your social calendars soon. We can't wait to play there New Year's Eve!! Next stop will be Gentleman Jack's in Little Chute on October 20th. Hope to see you all there!!!
9/16/07 Two firsts this weekend. We rocked The Marina Bar in Kaukauna on Friday and invaded Maloney's Pub in Green Bay on Saturday. A good time was had by all. Thanks to the Lorge's for continuing to be two of our biggest supporters. Also a big thanks to Ivana and Shirley and the rest of the Bachlorette Party crowd that helped make Maloney's a big...no HUGE success.
8/28/07 Mark your calanders!! November 24th at the outpost! FREE BEER ON THE BAND!!! We have decided to throw a 1 year anniversary bash, it is just over one year since we played our first show in public right here at The Outpost. This night it's our turn to treat you for sticking with us and making this one of the best years any of the 6 of us have ever had! Lets jam the place to the rafters and kick it Experiment style! (Special thanks to Brian from The Outpost for supporting us this year!)
08/15/07 We just got some awesome news today! We have the good fortune of being one of the first bands to play in the Lambeau Field Atrium on game day!! 08/13/07 What a great couple of weeks we have had! We really want to thank all the people who come out to see us on a regular basis and bring new people with. Both parish picnics we played these past two weekends were great!! St. Bernadette was such a great experience for all of us, it is a true class act. St. Kathrines was off the hook fun also, what an epic crowd we were treated to at that show. The schedule is really heating up now, we have several shows in the next 6 weeks....lets see you out there!
08/01/07 We had a short break and are now ready to hit it hard. We played a great outdoor wedding celebration this past weekend and are heating up for about 4 months of shows. To start our little tornado of gigs we are heating up to play our biggest gig to date at St, Bernadette's picninc this Saturday August 4th. It should be epic as we have one of the best sound companies in Wisconsin there to pop you right in the face! We look forward to the next few months and hope you are there to rock out with us.

4/10/2007 It's been a while without any new news... gigs continue to go well and the summer schedule is starting to jump alive. We hope to record our first demo this month for promotional puposes, so watch for some MP3s on the website sometime soon.
2/19/2007 Hats off to the planning committe and to the friends and family of Rick Boyle -- the benefit for Rick was a smashing success. The turnout was incredible, the raffles, silent auction and events were very effective, and everyone was very generous with their time and money. We also had a great time keeping the crowd dancing throughout the evening - what a blast. See you all again next weekend at the Outpost!
1/14/2007 Whoo-ee, what a weekend! First of all, thanks to Naughty Monkey for once again letting us open for them at O'Marro's Public House in Oshkosh on Friday -- a great time was had by all. Saturday night was yet another wild party at the Outpost: the joint was packed and jumping! Thanks to Rod Zimmerman and A-Town Unplugged for warming the crowd up for us. All we can say is, see you all again at the Outpost on February 24th!!
12/15/2006 New dates announced! Check out our schedule for more information.
12/9/2006 We sure had a crazy time at the Outpost last night! It was our first gig flying solo, and I think we officially kicked this thing off properly. Check out photos from the momentous occasion on the Images page (thanks again, Jolene!). The drinks were flowing and the place was jumping all night -- many thanks to the Kaukauna crowd for representing big time!
11/26/2006 We send out a huge thank you to photographer Jolene Morgan for taking some fun band photos of us at High Cliff State park this weekend. With an artsy eye, she did a great job making us look cool (not an easy task). The image on our current site banner and the picture on our About Us page came from that photoshoot -- way to go Jolene!
11/21/2006 The Experiment launches their new website, http://www.theexperimentband.com, posting information about the band, our song list, and our upcoming gigs. Post a comment in our Guest Book or send us a note via our Contact form.
11/18/2006 Valley-based band Naughty Monkey invites The Experiment to open for them November 18th at the Outpost in Sherwood, 8:30-9:30pm.
